Do you fancy delighting in the madcap genius of Spike Milligan?
To celebrate to Anglo-Indian-Irish comic’s 100th birthday on Monday 16th April, we have 3 copies of the nearly-complete Q box set to give away.
Launching in 1969 as Q5, his off-the-wall sketch show was a hugely influential precursor to the likes of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, delighting a generation of fans. Q6 hit BBC Two screens in 1979, with Q7, Q8 and Q9 running until 1980.
A 5-disc DVD box set including every surviving episode of the comedy – the three officially held of 7 episodes from Q5, plus the complete Q6 to 9 – is now available from Simply Media, showcasing the variety and colour of Spike’s incredible brand of humour. That’s more than 800 minutes of classic British comedy at its most unique.
