O2 Academy is set to bring a string of top-class tribute acts to Leeds – and you can win tickets.

Oasis, The Smiths, The Stone Roses… you don’t get many opportunities to see these guys live. And when it comes to Elvis, well, you’ve missed that boat my friend. But if you want a night of sterling entertainment, with all your favourite tunes, you can’t go wrong with a tribute act – and O2 Academy Leeds is bringing eight of the greats to Leeds. The Clone RosesIf you’re our lucky winner, you can kick off the summer with The Doors Alive on Friday 1st June 2018. They’re one of the leading impersonators of Jim Morrison and co. Expect them to play through classics like ‘Light My Fire’, ‘The End’ and ‘Riders On The Storm’. That’s followed on Saturday 9th June 2018 by a feast of music from across the Pennines – That Manchester Nightwill be headlined by The Clone Roses and The Smiths Ltd, with support from The Courtbetweeners, Appy Mundays and a DJ set from Inspiral Carpets legend Clint Boon.

The gigs pick up again in September. Oasis tribute Definitely Mightbe headline on Friday 7th September 2018, so you can relive ‘Live Forever’, ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Roll With It’. The following Friday, you’ll be singing along to the music of Paul Heaton as The Southmartins play the tunes of his former groups, The Housemartins and The Beautiful South. Finally, you can see one of the most unusual tribute acts in the world – Elvana is an Elvis-fronted Nirvana tribute act that brings together grunge and ’50s rock & roll. Expect an unbelievable show on Saturday 14th September 2018.
