Free Compost in Watford – Saturday 12th of May
Watford Borough Council and Veolia will be holding a compost giveaway at Wiggenhall Depot, in Wiggenhall Road, Watford, on Saturday 12 May – which is during International Compost Awareness Week.
Up to 10 tonnes of compost will be available to people who bring proof that they live in Watford, such as council tax or utility bill.
Residents are advised to bring their own bags and shovels so they can help themselves to three bags of compost donated by West London Composting, which is the facility where Watford’s food and garden waste is processed.
