This year’s Chipping Norton Literary Festival includes a book group event hosted by long-time Barbara Pym fan, Andrew Male, and Virago has a set of two tickets and two copies of the book up for grabs.
Barbara Pym lived near Chipping Norton, wrote exquisite social comedies and was declared by Philip Larkin to be “the most under-rated writer of the C20th“. This informal book group, with Pym enthusiast Andrew Male, looks at the novel Excellent Women and helps you find out more about this wonderful local writer.
The event takes place on Saturday 28 April 18:00 – 19:00.
